Emily is one of my absolute favorite people to collaborate with. On this day, we were actually planning on a different concept but the light wasn't really working for what we wanted. Instead, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall colors that were covering the trees. She pulled together some of her vintage clothing for the outfits, we grabbed a few props, and we headed out. We did this shoot at a park in Avondale Estates with a pretty lake and ducks waddling around. The grey skies really helped the orange trees popped and some of the photos even feature a surprise guest. I've said this before, but it's so important to be able to change your vision when things aren't working out. We still plan to do the original idea we had, but these photos are amazing and we would've missed out if we decided to just give up all together.
