I actually did this shoot wayyyy back at the end of August and have been saving it since. It's part of my series inspired by Harry Styles' Fine Line album. "She" is one of my absolute favorite songs on the album (let's be real though, I could say that about all of them). I love the psychedelic rock sounds and that's what I wanted to capture with these photos: something darker and kind of hazy. Lydia and I accomplished with a shadowed parking garage and clove cigarettes. The song always sounds very mysterious to me so I kept her shrouded in the shadows and used her hair to cover her face in some shots. This shoot ended up sorta being split into two. After the first round of photos, we decided to go to the top of the parking garage where we were met with a really soft sunset that contrasted nicely with the black dress Lydia wore. For these photos, I pulled my prisms out and got some really trippy photos. I also played with some slow shutter movement shots that turned out really cool. I really think these photos capture the song (my mom even told me they reminded her of it before I'd told her the concept) and this is one of favorite shoots to date.
