The number of times I've tried to do this "Golden" inspired photoshoot is not funny. The first time was over the summer when I was at the beach, but that didn't work out. Then when school started I tried again only for it to be insanely cloudy. Take 3 turned into our blue hour photoshoot, until finally Lydia and I made it out to this field, the light was perfect, and we got our shot. Honestly, I had a totally different concept for Golden before Harry Styles released the music video to go along with it, and I still hope to one day photograph that one for part of my Fine Line series, but I also absolutely loved the photo he used as promo and knew that I wanted to recreate that. We didn't have access to a beautiful Italian coast, but I think we still captured the essence of the photo. The rest of the shoot was honestly just gold fall goodness and the photos of Lydia laying in the grass are some of my favorite ever (and are now featured prominently on the homepage of this site).
