This shoot was such a fun one! I've been listening to a lot of vinyl lately, and my roommate owns Elton John's Greatest Hits. Every time I see the album, I can't help but think how much I love the album art, so I decided to do a shoot inspired by it. To do this shoot, my friends Nick and Jules went on a thrift shop hunt with me. We found this plaid blazer and bought a pair of funky sunglasses to complete the look. We ended up using Nick's apartment for the shoot, which worked out perfect. We threw on a 70s playlist, the light was beautiful, and his patterned couch had a charming retro vibe. Nick had also just happened to buy a keyboard, so we got a few shots with that. I really love these photos. The contrasting patterns somehow go together really nicely, and the disco ball created some really cool patterns in the light. Nick made the perfect model for this shoot and I love every photo dearly.
